Research Area and Description
Tribology:
Powder/solid lubrication
Particle Mechanics Techniques:
Powder/solid lubrication modeling and
experimentation
Research Statement
Emmanuel's current research focus involves the
investigation of the powder lubrication and powder flows. His model has
demonstrated an ability to create a self-replenishing, self-repairing
lubrication mechanism using compacted powders, and fractional coverage
approaches. He is currently designing and supervising the construction
a pellet-on disk with slider tribometer.
Work Experience
Teaching Assistant, Carnegie Mellon University,
