Welcome to Allen Robinson's home page. I am an associate professor at Carnegie Mellon University. I have a joint appointment (50:50) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy. My background is in the thermal fluid science area of Mechanical Engineering, but my research focuses on energy and environmental problems. My research group works on both the technical and societal aspects of these problems.
